Tickets are available on the day of the performance the Lawson Field Theatre box office, 60 mins prior to the performance unless sold out.

Book early to avoid disappointment.

In the event of a cancellation or postponement,  ticketholders will be contacted direct via email by Ticketek.

Ticket categories

General Admission

For these shows there is no reserved seating it’s first-come-first-served. We recommend you arrive early to secure a good spot.

A Reserve

These are the best seats in the venue.
A Reserve seats have a clear view of the performance and offer the best vantage point for experiencing the show.

B Reserve

These are the second-best seats in the venue and offer a good view of the performance.

Concession

Concession prices apply for 65+ with SuperGold Card and Community Service Card holders, tertiary students (with valid ID), and high school students. Please note, only selected shows have a concession.

Child 

Children are aged 12 and under. All children must have a ticket regardless of age. Please note, only select shows have a child’s price.

Accessibility

Please advise our ticketing agent at the time of booking of any special seating requirements. 

There is allocated wheelchair seating at venues, but availability is limited. Please book these in advance in person via the iSite Box Office

 

Relaxed Performance

Some of our programmes offer a Relaxed Performance option. These performances are specifically designed for those who respond differently to live performance – especially those with sensory and communications disorders or learning differences. 

Warnings and restrictions

Some seats may have age, sightline or sound restrictions, please check when booking. 

Some shows have published content warnings, these should be considered before purchasing tickets. 

Some shows are held in licensed premises and are R18 or have conditions of entry by law. These are clearly indicated in the programme and should be considered prior to purchase. 

Te Tairāwhiti Arts Festival aims to provide all relevant information about our programme events and shows in our promotional content as accurately as possible. We reserve the right to alter any events listed in our programme. 

Ticketing agents and fees

Please ensure you are purchasing genuine tickets by going directly through our official ticketing agent Ticketek. 

Where tickets are sold through a range of ticketing agents, customers should expect differing booking and service fees, and processing or transaction charges. Prices listed in the programme exclude these charges. 

Please note, the festival and its customers are also bound by our ticketing agencies terms and conditions, which can be found on their respective websites at the time of purchase. 

Ticket sales include GST. All sales are final and there are no refunds – except where required by law. 

Availability

All tickets are sold subject to availability at the time of purchase. 

Some events have indicated a strict lock-out policy, and these will be enforced. Please note that latecomers may be excluded from any show or admitted only at a suitable point in the show.

Te Tairāwhiti Arts Festival may run special offers for selected shows. Offers will be promoted in the media, in our newsletters, and through our social media channels.
