Join the Tairāwhiti Museum for their ‘Matariki’ School Holiday Workshops featuring Arts & Crafts programmes with local artists. They will also have sessions running in their planetarium where students can enjoy listening to live Matariki kōrero and discover the rich traditions of Matariki while sitting under the planetarium stars.

Art & Crafts Workshops:
Suitable ages 4yrs-12yrs. $5 per child. Limited numbers, pre-booking and payment at the museum are essential. All children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the workshop.
Planetarium:
Suitable ages 4yrs+ recommended. Limited numbers, pre-booking at the museum is essential. Entry fee – koha. All children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the workshop.
