With 2021 coming to a close, we hope that you are spending some much-needed time with your whānau this holiday season. 2021 was definitely a year that we won’t forget – although we could do without saying “pivot” ever again!
In October, we were proud to present a locally-focused session of the Te Tairāwhiti Arts Festival. We want to give a massive thank you to the artists who’s mahi toi brought life to the festival and allowed our communities to continue to safely connect. While we prepare for the brand-new summer session of the Te Tairāwhiti Arts Festival, happening Feb 3-13, we want to let you know what you can expect.
At a time when our festival brings people together, our priority is the health and well-being of everyone. So, Te Tairāwhiti Arts Festival will follow the Ministry of Health COVID-19 Protection Framework traffic light settings for our region, which will be Orange from Friday 31 December 2021.
Festival events will go ahead under the new traffic light system if Tairāwhiti is in Orange or Green. To keep safe and comply with the restrictions under these settings, everyone aged 12years+ will need to provide a current My Vaccine Pass and may also be asked for ID to enter festival events. This includes ticket holders, artists, staff and contractors.

Refunds
We appreciate that some people will not yet be fully vaccinated or choose not to use passes. If you would like to proceed with a refund before 14 January 2022 please contact iTICKET’s Support Team by emailing support@iticket.co.nz .Please note refunds may not be accepted after 14/01/2022.
Cancellation
In the event our region is classified Red for the event dates 3 – 13 February 2022, Te Tairāwhiti Arts Festival may cancel or postpone. Ticketholders will be contacted via email by iTICKET with options to rebook or receive a refund.
