Te Tairāwhiti Arts Festival celebrates musical excellence nestled under the light of an East Coast moon.
Join a stellar line up including Dave Dobbyn, Anika Moa, Annie Crummer, Maisey Rika, Rob Ruha and Teeks as they share their music and magic on the shores of Tūranga-nui-ā-Kiwa/Gisborne. With a special guest appearance from contemporary Hawaiian musician Kaumakaiwa Kanaka’ole with Shawn Pimental.
Bring the whānau and a comfy seat, and settle in for a night of wonderful waiata and superb song.

Tips for an enjoyable festival experience...
Please print out your ticket or have it ready on your phone before you get to the gate.
Because this is a General Admission show, you are welcome to come early. The show starts at 7pm, but gates will open at 6pm and the show will finish about 9pm.
Please bring in all those things that make you comfy - chairs, umbrellas, blankets and cushions. Make sure you bring something warm.
While we will have food vendors on-site, you are welcome to bring in food and drink (no alcohol). We will have water freely available at refill stations – but please bring a bottle.
This is an alcohol-free event. We reserve right to bag search and tip out water if we are suspicious.
Road Closures will be in place along Centennial Marine Drive. Parking is available at Watson Park if you can’t find anything on the street.
