Mythic and modern storytelling at its absolute best!

It’s 1998. Otto is twelve but online he’s thirteen and he’s pretty sure he gets away with it. He lives in an old wooden house with his mum, dad, and sister, a chain-smoking Icelandic granny, and an ancient malevolent troll who’s started living in the wall…

From Trick of the Light Theatre (The Bookbinder, The Road That Wasn’t There) comes a lo-fi, wi-fi fable combining storytelling, projection and puppetry, for adults and children aged 10+.

As smartphones become light sources, laptops transform into skyscrapers, and charger cords morph into puppets, it tells a story both mythic and modern, in the vein of Stranger Things.
