Homegrown diva Jackie Clarke puts on her big girl pants to salute the wahine who wrote the book on delivering a torch song with style!
Judy Garland, Shirley Bassey, Peggy Lee, Barbra Streisand and more...
In Jackie Goes Prima Diva, she ticks some show stopping numbers off her diva ‘to-do’ list and name checks her idols; from Alberta Hunter to Dolly Parton, Gaga to Ethel Merman.
Accompanying Jackie, on the piano, is the wonderful Grant Winterburn, so expect a dynamic duo delivering nuanced and celebratory versions of truly iconic songs, many of which revisit star-turns from Ms Clarkes’ own journey in musical theatre.
If you hold a torch for the grande dames of stage, screen and studio, don’t miss this intimate tribute from the loving larynx of Jackie Clarke.
Dinner and Show
For guests attending shows at The Festival Club, try our new Dinner and Show package. The Lysnar ballroom oozes elegance, with high ceilings and chandeliers reflecting its vintage. Our chefs will present a tantalising two-course set-menu of European-inspired cuisine and tapas, changing daily.
If you’re joining us for the Dinner and Show package you’re welcome to join us from 5pm. Diners must be seated at 6pm. Jackie’s show follows the meal.
We ask those purchasing a show-only ticket, to arrive at 7:30pm, for an 8pm start.
Everyone is welcome to linger late and enjoy the post-show atmosphere.
Note, beverages are additional. Patrons are seated at tables of four. Where your party is smaller, you may be seated with another party.
